‘But it’s my baby!’
An insight into personal identity, leadership and entrepreneurship in Wales
Dr Louisa Huxtable-Thomas, Swansea University School of Management
Talk to be held at the National Assembly for Wales, Cardiff Bay, The Old Debating Chamber, 6.30 pm – 8 pm, 9thOctober 2018
Dr Louisa Huxtable-Thomas introduces us to entrepreneurial identity and some of the reasons why personal perceptions can stand in the way of all of us being an economic force for good.
Using research gained from the last thirteen years working with businesses in Wales.
Louisa will help us to understand why the study of entrepreneurs often falls into a chasm between psychology and sociology and starts to provide some clues about the ways in which policy makers could start to see entrepreneurial potential in a new light.
